What the 30-day rule covers
Holders of ordinary Saudi Arabia passports can enter mainland China without a visa and stay up to 30 days per entry. Permitted purposes: tourism, business, visiting relatives and friends, exchange visits, and transit. The duration is counted from 00:00 on the day after entry, so arrival day is effectively free.
Conditions to meet

Getting there from Saudi Arabia
Saudia currently handles the bulk of Saudi–China air capacity, with nonstop routes linking Jeddah and Riyadh to Guangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai. Riyadh Air — the kingdom's newer national carrier — won Chinese regulatory approval in July 2026 to add its own nonstop Riyadh–Beijing and Riyadh–Shanghai service, though a launch date hadn't been announced at the time of approval.
